Acetone In Fuel Said to Increase Mileage
Not to say this is 100% correct but this guy says after soaking parts in heavy acetone mixture showed very very very little to no decay of the fuel system parts. the fuel system was made to hold up to this kinda stuff, the real risk is if you spill it on something, ie. spill a drop on the paint while you adding it to the tank.
