You can & will receive alot of helpfull information from this site. I also purchased a used 1995 GeoTracker 5 Spd, 4 wheel drive with aprox 123,000 miles from an original owner.
For what it is worth, I purchased a "Used" Factory Service Manual from Ebay for $45.00. To date it has assisted me in eliminating my "Check Engine Lamp" issue, as well as rebuild the manual shift transmission in a 1994 Sidekick I purchased a few weeks ago, among major maintaince concerns. I have invested a few dollars in "at home" service repairs, but I have dedicated it to being my daily driver, as I travel aprox 170 miles per day with my job. I am currently averaging between 29 & 30 MPG. I recouped "all" my expenses (purchase price / auto transport to me / complete & through engine/drivetrain service / etc within 4 months. Needless to say, the investment for me has returned a great return. Now I get to "pocket" aprox 38 cents for each mile I turn from my company's mileage expense allowance.
