Job done - easy as! From underneath the car remove filler snorkel and breather pipe from filler end, place a trolley jack under the fuel tank, remove the fuel line and return line at the front of the tank, remove the 4 - 13mm bolts that hold the tank in, lower trolley jack and its out. To empty put the tank i removed the pump assy, 8 10mm bolts. I emptied the tank into a clear container, about 5 litres of fuel of which half of it was water! Sprayed wd40 into the tank and let it stand on end for about 30 mins. I wiped it out with a clean rag, then washed it out with metho. Did the same with the pump. I remove the fuel hose from the fuel rail and blew backwards all the fuel out of the line. Re-installed the tank and all, put in a bottle of Nulon Cleaner, 10 L of premium and now its back to doing what it does best - running like a charm! About 90 mins of my time all up!
