Our 2000 GV averages 20.6 mpg city/highway. This is disgusting for a small SUV. It is the only reason we are selling it. We have owned it for the last 4 years and otherwise love it.
To compare. The zuki is my wifes car. I drive a 2001 Mercedes Benz ML430 SUV. 5,500lbs, V-8, full time 4x4, and I get an average of 19 city/hwy, day in and day out. On trips, it is not uncommon to get 22-24mpg at 75mph with the cruise set. This rig is twice the size of the zuki, pulls 3 times the trailer load, has every creature comfort in the book, seats 7, and I bought it used for well less than $20k.
I do love the little Suzuki, but the fuel mileage is not acceptable.
