I feel that way a Bit, coming from building a full rock crawler out of a cj7 but it had mostly chevy and scout drivetrian. I've owned many modified jeeps and they look cool and are very capable but not very practical. Yes with gas over 3 bucks a gal. I'll drive a tracker. I think I'll do a 2" body lift or a 1 1/2 coil spacer lift and some 235X75x15's to get away from that.
