car are built with a rev limiter. it prevents cars from going over a certain speed. when chips are put in or ecu reprogramed they usually get rid of it. the learning feature of the ecu is nice but can only do so much. unless you have a bunch of mods it will be fine. at some point you might want to look into a pigyback ecu for tuning.
