Some ideas
According to GEO service manual:
(Provided that everything is cool with the battery, charge, terminals and cables, and ground)
If you get NO clicking then it is the Starter Solenoid (or connections to it).
If it is a manual trans, have you tried push starting? It may confirm a bad starter if it does start. It won't cost a thing.
Other ideas: Neutral Safety Switch? Ignition Switch?
