the fan, no, its a 2 wire fan, ( it is a very simple circuit, need a schematic?)
1- the switch.
2- that 3 resistor fan module
3- the wires <<<<<<<<<<<< BINGO. (contacts are part of wires)
The fan spins directly to the current you are feeding it, on one position of the switch
your car is not feeding current to the fan.
put voltmeter across fan leads.
go to speed 1, see voltage? yes,
next.
go to speed busted, ,see no voltage, yes?
yes, now move that meter lead , RED , back to the next point.
keep moving until you see 12vdc,
the problem will be between good and bad point.
