I just installed the Doug Thorley Header and Weber carb (32/36 Progressive) on my 87 samy and it was such an improvement that I cant even believe it is that same vehicle. The biggest notice was the torque on the bottom end. Also now I don't have to floor it to do highway speeds. Other things to replace are the spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition coil, and air filter.
