Hello Zipper! I am new to Suzuki ownership, but I do know that the Forenza and the Reno are made by Daewoo in Korea. Daewoo is owned by GM, who still owns a chunk of Suzuki. In fact, the XL-7 is a platform twin to the Chevy Equinox/ Pontiac Torrent. The Forenza is sold in Canada as the Chevrolet Optra. (I live so close to the border we see them all the time!) Maybe this is why they are separate?
